5 CBD Myths Debunked.
Do you ever wonder if drinking hemp milk will make you high? Have you ever seen anyone smoking a hemp shirt? In this video I want to tackle a subject that is quite controversial and misunderstood, not only in the health and wellness community, but also throughout the world. I’m of course talking about CBD.
I intend to dispel the most common myths about CBD, from whether it can get you high or contain psychoactive properties, and to address other misunderstood facts like the correct dosage, how much you should be taking, and in what form, its relation (or not) to cannabis, and much more.
There is so much science and research (and results!) behind CBD, and it is a powerful nutrient that can support your Endocannabinoid system and has myriad health benefits, and it needs to be taken seriously.
Also known as Cannabidiol, it was discovered in 1940 and studies (still ongoing) have shown CBD to be an effective medicine for anxiety, sleep, cognition, pain and movement disorders. Yet despite this, it still stigmatized by many and carries many misconceptions that are simply untrue, including an association to cannabis, which is not only unfair, but very misunderstood as you will learn in this video.
Many people can benefit from using CBD and in so many ways, and I feel it’s unfair that people are misunderstanding it and misjudging it without properly educating themselves first. For those of you out there who are scared to take it or have come to your own conclusions about it, good or bad, I think you’ll be very surprised by the facts in this video. Now, this is the first of many we will be focusing on here on my channel. CBD is something I personally take and I’ll talk about the why's and the when’s in the video, but bottom line: it works and it is too important in its medicinal functions to be so easily dismissed, and I hope to change people’s perceptions of it through the many videos on the subject, starting with this one. I hope that you learn from this video and understand that CBD can help you. It is a medicine and not a drug and we need to understand that.
If you want to learn more, by all means leave questions or comments below, and please share your experiences with CBD with me, I’ve seen it help people and love to hear feedback and get a discussion going. That is what wellness is about and the purpose of this channel: sharing knowledge and educating ourselves on how to treat our bodies with the kindness they deserve, and lead you to a better life.

  1. CBD is awesome, but have you tried some good kratom ever? For me even way better for anxiety, lack of energy and focus. But, the quality makes a difference, farmed one is just not anything like the original wildly grown one. And here in Indonesia we got only one project that sources and supplies real wild grown kratom, name is Borneo Energy, some kind of charity program. More than recommendable! Can find it from borneo.energy

  2. Makes me feel great! Breath better, sleep better, calmer. Must be good if they are trying to hid this? Lol????????. 15 mg full spectrum refined, 5 mg raw a day. Occasional gummie added when every. I don’t think I have had a cold since I started this.

  3. What about CBD for skincare -the oils. I’m seeing and reading a lot about using CBD oils for the face. Also, I have mild psoriasis
and have read that CBD can help with that. Thanks for bringing some light on this subject.

  4. Besides CBD, what other herbs and nutrition interact positively with these receptors? I seem too run into people who swear by CBD seem to be "hot messes"….more to what your talking about with quality. You are a very balanced person, very rare in in this market.

  5. CBD needs to be consumed with THC in order to have the best effect. Charlotte's web was made to stop epileptic seizures for a young girl and yes it did give her a slight "high" but it was essential for her treatment. If you live in a state where it's legal, you should use the CBD from cannabis and paired with THC.

  6. Naomi you look gorgious in this video. So just go on and have some more videos like this on Youtube. I am from Belgium but I live in Thailand now for 16 years. I am 63 years young just in case you want to know. So I am enviting you to Thailand I will give you a ride from the Airport straight to where you want to go. See you there.

  11. Hello! I really recomend taking CBD for many symptoms but in my own experience with my mom,,,she has fybromyalgia and arthritis and she started taking cbd this year and she has exprienced gradual improvement and relief, as skeptical many of us are,,,she overcome that tabu and now she admits it´s benefits and recomends it. From Costa Rica with love.

  12. I'm interested in learning more about CBD, such as: Is it only for those with conditions and diagnoses, or are there any benefits for the average healthy person? Looking forward to seeing more on this topic!
