  1. Some things that work is doing bridges, front planks and side planks. Changing your diet to reduce inflammation in the body is a must. Reducing sugars carbs etc(think keto). Go for fermented foods and easy digesting proteins(chicken, chick peas, eggs.) Going for prolonged fasts also reduces inflammation in the pain areas of chronic lower back pain patients. Fasting for 3+ days let's the body not worry about digesting and instead let's it focus and repair damaged cells in other areas. Stem cells are available at their max abundancy 3 days after not eating(think your body preparing you to hunt so you dont die). Try it yourself you may also wish to try ice cold baths(think lebron james). I have ddd, stenosis, buldging discs, herniated discs you name it. I manage my pain/conditions with the above methods after spending thousands of hours on research, books and getting care from at least 50 different licensed therapists over the last 15 years. For some there is no cure but feel better knowing it won't be forever and one day we'll all be at peace. See you all there. Finally, walk 30 minutes a day, dont do anything if it hurts and know your limits. A good further learning route for all is searching dr stuart mcgill.

  2. My friend has an huge old doberman pinscher named Striker. Striker cannot even bend his bend his back legs when he lays down, they are all the way straight forward to his head. Poor dog. Someone recommended he give Striker CBD oil. Since he starting giving striker CBD oil, he much happier and goes for a walk everyday without problems and he moves much better. My friend says he's a whole different dog now after the CBD oil. Striker is so happy he smiles now and has a twinkle in his eye, and plays a little bit now, even though he is super old. Striker even took his toy stuffed animal winnie the poo tigger in a car ride with him the other day.. Also his younger dog used to lick the right side of his head and his blind right eye( we think) while he lay in pain. (Maybe the other dog senses or smells cancer)? Anyways, the other dog doesn't lick the right side of his head and eye so much now, indicating that the cancer, pain, or whatever was bothering him might be receding, since dogs are very perceptive to pain, sadness, and sickness in humans and other dogs. Just throwing in my observations for anyone or their dogs that might be suffering from pain, to at least give CBD oil a try.

  3. Tried it recently with extreme sciatica and it helped me finally get a decent nights sleep which I hadn’t been able to do for 3x weeks and in turn helped my body recover better so finally had less pain in my legs definitely helped.

  4. On a trip to Greece last fall (2019) I had a sciatica flare up which at times was unbearable. When I returned home I ran into a friend, an ex-ballerina, who had the exact symptoms that I was experiencing. She showed me some exercises for pain relief, and she also showed me a present that she got from her son. It was a THC gummy bear. We each took half, just for fun, and were both astonished that in addition to the high we no longer had pain. So I figured I would try CBD oil as a daily supplement. I have not had a recurrence of symptoms since I began taking the oil in late November. 10 mg sublingual drops 2x per day.

  5. I have tried it for my Sciatica due to a herniated disk in my L4-L5. It assisted in being able to sleep at night and did help with the pain management. It did not directly cure the Sciatica but it did help alleviate some symptoms and did allow me to sleep at night. I combined this along with what my doctor recommending and progress has been great. I'm not at the point where I no longer need it and only feel the pain in my low back now on rare occasions.

  6. If you have frequent and/or serious pains to manage, there's not a thing in this world that can lelieve that, and not be habit-forming. There are many things out there that can ease pain and not be physically addictive itself. But unless you're actually taking/using it purely incidentally and randomly, it's gonna form habits. Then there's psychological addiction. And when it comes to pain relief, indirect addiction by addiction to the endorphine release caused by the temporary relief of pain (especially if the pains are severe and chronic).

It doesn't have to be a very bad thing – just be aware of and prepared for it. Pretty much all pain relief is a compromise. Some compromises are okay, it's just best to be aware, to understand what your compromise entails.

  7. Having a crazy sciatic attack currently. Last year I had the same issue. And this time I thought I caught It early. But its seemingly getting worse. I have been taking Advil extra strength, and I'm at a point where I need the recommended daily dosage in 1 sitting (1800mg) just to even feel a little effect. I started taking CBD 4 days ago, so far no change. I will post again after a week or 2. As I have been told that's how long it takes for effects to really start taking place.
