And now for something entirely different, a diy in the kitchen! Here I am making my own CBD oil with cannabis. I am using MCT oil which is perfect for the keto diet. mmm bullet coffee and fat bombs.

Here's what I did:
1. Break up 1/4 oz cannabis into small bits
2. Place cannabis in canning jar with lid loosely closed
3. Add 2 cups water and canning jar to instant pot
4. Decarboxylate: 40 minutes at high pressure with quick release
5. Let cool
6. Add 1 Tbsp Grain Alcohol, mix and let rest about 1/2 hour
7. Add about 1 cup MCT oil to jar of cannabis
8. Cook on High Pressure setting for 30 minutes, natural release
9. Let cool
10. Strain through cheese cloth

  1. Possible to do on stovetop instead of instapot?
Also what percentage cbd was your quarter ounce? If you assume 100% was extracted it’s like 10% cbd given the numbers you gave, but I kinda doubt 100% of the cbd would be extracted in this process

  2. This is the first time I've seen any video like this on YT, but I need to try this, because I'm dealing with chronic back pain due to scoliosis and an injury from a car accident (compound fracture). Liked, shared, subbed. Thanks for sharing. I also have an Instapot I bought from Costco and I've never used it before, but this will make me use it, for sure lol.

  3. I melt coconut oil and cacao butter buttons together and use my butter brewer to make mine. Then I put it in molds and chill. Every morning I drop one in my coffee along with a tbsp of heavy cream and bullet blend it. How much of your MCT oil do you use as a serving size?
