It is perhaps best known for its ability to reduce anxiety and promote happiness, but CBD‘s applications are seemingly endless; it has been successfully used to help with pain, insomnia, and depression. There are some reports that it helps with other medical conditions as well.

Due to its wide range of uses, CBD-infused products are the fastest growing segment of the health industry. Medical celebrities Dr. Oz and Dr. Sanjay Gupta advocate for CBD, as well as non-medical celebrities such as Joe Rogan, Morgan Freeman, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

CBD use is growing by leaps and bounds, with a projected $22 billion market by 2022. But what is CBD? I'll be answering this question and also giving you the inside story of cannabidiol along with its benefits in this video.

  3. Iv'e been using CBD oil ( Green Roads ) for about a month. I was taking jell capsules then just recently swithed to CBD oil. One of the medications I take is Zoloft. I was taking a 100mg now I'm taking 50mg. Want to taper off the rest of Zoloft and hopfully all the other pharmacuticals that are unnatrual and danerous to the body. Do you have any sugestions Dr. Hansen?

  4. CBD oil is wonderful for blue balls if your woman isn't giving it to you and just giving you a hard time literally day after day just rub it on in the morning because let me tell you ….blue balls matter too ????????.

  12. I have Recently Got Bad Anxiety and I really hope The Cbd Oil I got Helps with it I have also asked the Manufacturer about the Product and They Told me It the right one for me.

  15. Hi Dr. Mike. I have a friend who has severe rheumatoid arthritis and takes 4 opioids when the pain hits her intensely and stays away from opioids when the pain is manageable. Her doctors will no longer prescribe opioids because of the danger(she says her liver tests are fine) and has recommended that she take a CBD supplement but it needs to be high strength because she gets zero pain relief with most dosages over the counter. She is willing to try it but most dosages do nothing for pain.

    I would ask you to put out a detailed video sometime which dives into chronic health conditions for which CBD might be a viable option and recommendations as to what strengths are legally available and where to get them? I appreciate the honesty in your videos without personal product line selling like many YouTube doctors do. I watch those as well and do take them seriously…but I like your channel more.

    This same friend runs for a prescription vs. my position that using the right supplements and doses might allow her to reduce her need for so many prescriptions. She is also insulin dependent type 2 and not in good shape at all. Her daily life adult lifetime was on prednisone which her doctors say may have caused the diabetes she now has. Thank you.

  17. i would really like to see CBD products regulated and standardardizized the product is expensive and some of it is junk and some of it is great, i failed a urine test because the cbd oil i was using had trace amounts of thc. With such a growing industry and alot of money to be made i just feel the consumer should now what they are getting. grade A grade B grade C.
