  1. thank you for this explanation brother at first I was confused and thought Wim hof was encouraging stress in your life but I now realize its exposure to ice water stress and then learned control of said stress which makes you less vulnerable to stress which is the number one silent killer in the world… am I right?

  2. It's like weight lifting for life. If something feels heavy, you can lift weights and build your physical strength through progressive and controlled overload so that you adapt and eventually that heavy thing no longer feels heavy to you. When life feels heavy you get into some ice water and strengthen your resolve, control of your fear response and your physiology through controlled overload until eventually you look at some things in life that might have scared or upset you and they don't seem so monumental. Because at least they aren't freezing water.

Question how do you meditate ? never done that before not sure if i am doing it right i am doing all the exercises on the Wim Hof mobile app except the shelf working on headstand right now i started the Wim Hof Method 16 Jan 2019 almost 3 weeks in feeling great i making this a lifestyle i do every morning.   4. I love your vids! The Southern California ocean is down to 65 degrees. I swim at least 10 minutes a day in the ocean to get ready for the winter. What a fun way to train!

    Wim Hof has been great for my stress. I do afrimations in my breath holds and I get tears of joy every time!

  6. Great explanation on the difference between acute (short term, controlled, good for you) and chronic (long term, uncontrolled, bad for you) stress. Sadly, most people live in a state of chronic stress due to our non-stop culture. Work stresses, deadlines, job insecurity and so on keep people in a constant state of stress. WHM helps us tap into a stress mitigation technique using acute, short term stressors that build up our nervous system naturally that help us deal with chronic stressors. Great video!
